Trail Riding Proublem?Please help?

Ok so i went trail riding with my horse and two others and we were in the back and she kept trying to run up to her neighboor. She wouldnt just walk she went up to her every time she could. And pulling back on the bridle and turning her into circles didnt help at all can you please please give me some advice what to do when we go on a longer trail ride?
