Lifetime records?

Connors was notorious for playing noncompetitive events, similar to Chang, Rod, Davydenko and Moya. In my eyes his record is negligible since his record in slam finals and big events is not great and there was no depth then. In todays game everything revolves around slams and the masters series, so even though you have a great win/loss record who cares. Conchita Martinez had a record of 739-297, a ton of wins but...who cares
