Theists, if the argument from design can be used to prove God, then can it be used to prove that he is evil?

apparently god really hates australians... he puts them on an island with the 7 deadliest land snake species in the world and tasmanian devils to finish off the job that the snakes started. and if you try to escape by water, they have the greatest concentration of great whites of any other region, so it's likely that you could be fish food.
