Is it possible to transplant a fertilized egg to surrogate mother?

I take a pro-life stance instead of pro-choice stance w.r.t abortion. Girls have abortions because the pregnancy is unplanned and sudden. Now, if instead of abortion, the eggs could be carefully removed and transplanted to a willing surrogate mother, can we save the child? The child so born could be adopted by anybody.
