Do you feel 'Serenade' is one of Edgar Allan Poe's great lesser known poems?

Hi Michael. I think the problem with this poem, is in the rhyme scheme. The AABBCC format, tends to give a nursery rhymish, naive quality to the piece. This makes some of the rhymes seem forced and the reader loses interest early on. Hope all is well with you.
